On this episode of the vIQtory podcast we are joined by Army Green Beret and former NFL long snapper, Nate Boyer.

Nate decided after being an active duty Green Beret for 5 years that he would become a reserve and go to school. That path at University of Texas evolved to him walking on to the football team and becoming the starting long snapper. 3 years of starting later, he got a call from the Seattle Seahawks.

Boyer gained further attention when he penned an open letter to Colin Kaepernick about his protesting of the anthem. This opened up dialogue on the subject between the two and it resulted with Colin deciding to kneel instead of sit.

Nate can be found on social media, his website, nateboyer.com and check out his nonprofit Merging Vets and Players at vetsandplayers.org
